Mee Kari Nyonya

Salam Jumaat, penghulu segala hari. Hari ni takde masak nasi, dh borink, so makan mee la plak. Kita ada pelbagai jenis mee kari kan, dr Mee Kari Melayu, Nyonya style, chinese style..sume ada.. tp ada ke Mee Kari India? mee rojak kot...


Aku lebih suka mee kari macam kat kopitiam, ala2 nyonya ler..sbb letak daun kesum dan bunga kantan. Mmg best laaa...tp kalo makan kat luar tu, takleh nk mengulang dua tiga kali..so buat ler sendiri...hehehe

INGREDIENTS :
500g fresh yellow noodles
300g meehoon
200g bean sprout
200g prawns (medium size)
200g chilli cuttlefish*
Some chopped ginger flower
Some mint leaves

LAKSA GRAVY :
A (POUNDED) :
200ml oil
100g shallots, peeled
15 red chillies
10 dried chillies
2cm turmeric
2cm galangal
5 stalks lemongrass
10 candlenuts
1 tbsp toasted shrimp paste

B :
2500ml water
1 tbsp rock sugar
2 tsp salt
150ml light soya sauce

C :
5 sprigs kesum leaves
3 stalks lemongrass, crushed
6 kaffir lime leaves

D :
300ml thick coconut milk
12 taufu pok, cut each into half

SAMBAL CHILLI :
5 red chillies
4 dried chillies
6 shallots, peeled
4 pips garlic, peeled
1 tsp coriander seeds powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp toasted shrimp paste powder
3 stalks lemongrass
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
50ml coconut milk
100ml oil

METHOD :
1. LAKSA GRAVY : Sauté Ingredients A until fragrant, add in B and bring to boil. Add in C and simmer at low heat for 30 minutes. Add in coconut milk, taufu pok and simmer for another 5 minutes.

2. SAMBAL CHILLI : Put all ingredients into a wok and stir-fry at low heat until aromatic. Dish up.

3. Blanch yellow noodles, meehoon bean sprout and prawns separately. Dish and drain.

4. Put some yellow noodles and meehoon into bowl, top with some bean sprouts, and pour boiling soup over. Sprinkle chopped ginger flower and mint leaves on top. Serve hot with chilli cuttlefish and sambal chilli.

NOTES :
. Coconut milk should be added last and cooked with low heat to prevent it from curdling.
. Chilli cuttlefish : Blanch 300g pre-soaked dried cuttlefish strips in boiling water. Add 3 tbsp sambal chilli and stir well.



Ceritaku: Ada sesiapa boleh explain kat aku ttg diskaun bayaran saman baru2 ni..mcm mana tu ek? sapa yang kena saman sebelum 30November dapat diskaun ke?? saman jenis macam mana tu ek??
Aku dh check kat MyEg, laman JPS, PDRM (sume online ler..) kompom takde saman, tp bila check sms ke DAPAT, ada plak satu saman...ish..runsing betul ler...
